Charlotte Linton is a printed textiles designer
and illustrator, and has collaborated with a number of prestigious designers,
including Paul Smith and Hussein Chalayan. Charlotte launched a scarf label in
2009; each of her collections focuses on the relationship between nature and culture
in a particular area. In the Summer of 2012 Charlotte embarked upon an
‘artist in residence’ in Scotland, for which she chose to travel through the
Outer Hebrides researching and illustrating the local culture, craft, fauna and
flora, all of which are depicted on her current collection of scarves, which
have been created through traditional methods in Scotland.
